Meet the Team
Aisha Musa – Managing Director
I am the Managing Director of Alef Care and the CQC Registered Manager for our Bristol office. I started my career started as an A-Level teacher, working with and developing young adults through their academic progress and personal development.
Since 2020, I have been working within the adult healthcare sector, gaining extensive experience in managing a wide range of care packages. I am passionate about ensuring that each individual’s preferences, dignity, and care needs are placed at the centre of every decision, delivering truly person-centred support.
This combination of professional and lived experience inspired me to found Alef Care, with a clear vision of becoming the leading home care provider in Bristol and Liverpool; delivering compassionate, high-quality, and person-centred care.
Abdi Musa – Performance and Governance Lead
Having worked over 15 years across the NHS and wider public sector, my career spans across project management of large-scale, multi-million-pound healthcare system implementations working directly with all types of clinicians across the NHS, alongside consulting and business analysis focused on improving healthcare delivery and safety. I have also worked for Liverpool City Council for over 10 years in Internal Auditor, with regular audits on Social Care, Information Governance/GDPR, and Safeguarding audits.
As Performance Governance Lead, I ensure that Alef Care maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. I am passionate about strong governance, robust internal controls, and continuous improvement, ensuring that every aspect of the service is well-led and centred around client safety and wellbeing.
Zainab Abdi – Care Coordinator (Bristol)
I play a key role within the Bristol branch, supporting care coordination and leading HR and recruitment. Having started my journey with Alef Care as a Carer and progressing to Care Coordinator, I understand first-hand the importance of delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
I have also been the primary caregiver for my elderly grandmother for several years, which has shaped my passion for care and my understanding of the trust families place in us.
Alef Care has supported my professional development, from completing my Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification to currently working towards Level 3, with plans to progress to Level 5. This investment in training ensures our team has the skills and confidence to deliver safe, high-quality care.
I am proud to be part of a team that is well-trained, well-supported, and committed to providing reliable, person-centred care for every client.
Zainab Musa – Care Coordinator (Liverpool)
I began my career as a teaching assistant, working closely with children, including those with special educational needs. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for care, which led me to transition into adult social care where I worked as a caregiver.
I started my journey at Alef Care as a Care Assistant, then progressed to Care Supervisor and now Care Coordinator for the Liverpool branch. My hands on experience across all levels of care allows me to understand the important link between listening to client needs and delivering exceptional care. I am dedicated to ensuring every individual receives compassionate, high-quality, and person-centred support.
Our team works closely together behind the scenes to ensure every client receives safe, reliable, and compassionate care, supporting independence and dignity at all times, reflecting the standards expected of leading homecare providers.
What makes Alef Care different?
Family-run Business
We are a family run care agency for the whole community. As a local homegrown family business, we want to use our small home care company as a hub for positive social change in our community. This includes providing local jobs and offering training and development for school leavers and mothers who wish to return to work.
Free Training
We also offer free training to family carers so they too can gain knowledge on dementia or specific disabilities and gain first aid skills.
Strong Community
We are committed to increasing awareness about public health and stimulating our clients with social activities and organising social events for Staff and clients to continuously build on whole community relationships.
Future Thinking
By creating social interactions and adding social value we believe that could ultimately lead to less people needing to access state-funded social care services, because care and support is available in the community.
